Born in 1988, I began drawing with the age of three, mainly Kings and various motives of Santa Claus. I then got interested in baroque wigs. As the son of a street musician, I early on began to study street musicians and their cultural particularities. My mother, a felt artist, provided herself as a portrait model. In the following years, I developed a narrativ, linear style, that embodies scenarios beyond verbal articulation.
Next to this dimension, I am an art educator, and as such I am involved in questions of the art-canon, how to learn and how to unlearn in a postcolonial, feminist society, how to see and how to translate the seen into the drawing, and how to teach this to teenagers. On the art education section of this website, you will find my art education blog and a female artist research pool.
I got an degree at the academy of fine arts in Vienna, where I happily live and work.
